Aesthetica Magazine wants your stories
Aesthetica Magazine has launched a competition to find undiscovered creative talent - including poetry, fiction and artwork. The bi-monthly, founded in 2002, is the only British arts magazine to cover literature, visual arts, music, film and theatre. Now they are planning to publish an annual - and you could feature in it.

There will be one winner from each category who will each win £500 and winners and shortlisted runners up will feature in the new Aesthetica Annual to be published this November. They will also receive an annual subscription to the magazine worth £28 and a complimentary copy of the annual. Runners up will receive a complimentary copy of the annual.

Fiction writers have to submit up to 3 stories of wordcount up to 2,000 per piece in any genre. There is an entry fee of £10 per category. Deadline for submissions is 31 August 2008. The competition is open worldwide but entries must be written in English. Writers must also inform Aesthetica if they have been published elsewhere. You may be submit more than once.

The Aesthetica Annual will be available at Borders stores nationwide, and will showcase the best creative works from 2008. It will take the form of an A4, glossy coffee-table book.
Visit http://www.aestheticamagazine.com/ for more details and to make your entry fee payment (you will need the confirmation number for your entry.)
Good luck.
