Woman&home short story competition

Thwoman&home are running a great competition
There is just a couple of days left to enter the woman&home annual short story competition. This year's theme is passion and the word count is a maximum of 2,500 words. Oh and it helps if you like coffee because the prize includes a £75 Costa card!

First prize is £1,500, and your story published in woman&home and in a Costa Book Awards book. The winner will also receive two VIP tickets to the 2008 Costa Book Awards dinner in London with travel and hotel accomodation.
Nine shortlisted finalists will win a set of the 20 books shortlisted for the Costa Book Awards 2008, and a £75 Costa Coffee card to spend at any branch.

Entrants must include an entry form (available to download on the woman&home website or in the May issue - but no photocopies), a recent photo and 200 words mini-biography.
All entries must be received by post by Friday 23 May 2008.

Sue James, woman&home Editorial Director, said: "Last year, I was very impressed by the extremely high standard of our applications. I'm looking forward to an even better batch this year!�
Fanny Blake is woman&home's Book Editor and two professional readers will narrow entries down to a shortlist. Final stage judges will include Araminta Whitley director of LAW literary agency and authors Victoria Hislop and Deborah Moggach.
