Book lovers have the chance to meet two award-winning authors and get copies of their signed books at events later in the year.
Sefton Libraries have announced that former Children's Laureate Jacqueline Wilson will be visiting Crosby Library and Civic Hall to talk about what inspires her to write and why she thinks reading is so important to young people.
Multi-award winning author Jacqueline has sold over 20 million books in the UK alone and is loved by youngsters for her books including, The Story of Tracy Beaker, The Illustrated Mum and Girls in Love. I'm sure tickets are going to be really popular.
Pritchards Bookshop will be selling copies of Jacqueline's books on the night which can be signed (she has been known to sign for several hours!).
Tickets for the evening event at 6pm on October 17th will go on sale in September, price to be confirmed.

Award winning author Carol Birch will be visiting Sefton to talk about the inspiration behind her compelling and haunting novels 'The Naming of Eliza Quinn' and 'Scapegallows' at two events.
Manchester born Carol now lives in Lancaster and is the author of seven novels. She has been described as a "born storyteller" by The Times. Her latest novel 'Scapegallows' brings to life the colourful story of Margaret Catchpole who managed to evade the gallows twice. (I like the sound of that) while her novel 'Turn Again' was long-listed for the Man-Booker Prize in 2003.
Carol will be speaking about her work and signing books and there will be an opportunity to purchase copies of her novels courtesy of Pritchard's Bookshop.
Carol will be at Formby Library on Thursday July 24th between 2 and 4pm and then at Woodvale Community Centre, Meadows Lane, Woodvale between 7 and 9pm. To book tickets for Formby Library call 01704 874177 for Woodvale Community Centre call 01704 573084.
