
Here's another creative writing competition that's running on the Telegraph's website to tie in with their publication of Alexander McCall Smith's new serial novel Corduroy Mansions.
Telegraph.co.uk says: "As part of the (Corduroy Mansions) project, we're upping the ante on the creative writing front and challenging you to write your own serialised, online piece of fiction. You will need to publish your work on this site as a blog."
The book can be anything between 5,000 and 100,000 words in a minimum of ten blog posts. The competition began in September and closes on February 13th when the Telegraph book team will pick their favourites.
There will be a shortlist of six and one winner. The prize is a three-course lunch with Alexander McCall Smith, a signed copy of his new book, and publication on the Telegraph website, runners-up win a signed book.
The details on how to start your novel blog are available at www.telegraph.co.uk. The competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over. Entries will be judged on creative story-telling, creative use of the serialised online format and literary merit.
