Daily Telegraph travel writing competition - win a trip to South Africa

The Daily Telegraph is running a fantastic travel writing competition with a holiday to South Africa including whale watching trip as first prize with notebook computers for six runners up.

The competition challenges you to write a 500 word piece on "your travel discovery of the year," explaining it could be - " a new destination, a journey or experience, or just a fresh take on an old favourite at home or abroad."
Entries are in six categories with a winner from each receiving theAsus Eee 910 PC notebook. They are: adventure, beach, Britain, cruise, rail and snow.
The overall, best winner will enjoy a 10 day stay in Cape Town including whale watching and safari trips.
Entries should be emailed to the Daily Telegraph, address and full terms and conditions are available at www.telegraph.co.uk/travel
Deadline is Friday December 12th 2008 and only one (previously unpublished) entry per person is allowed.
