NUS wants seasonal stories

Posted by Susan Humphreys on December 16, 2008 8:53 AM |

The National Union of Students (NUS) has teamed up with Harper Collins for a Christmas story competition.
This is a chance to have your story judged by a panel of experts and published online.

Winners will also receive a copy of three Paulo Coelho's books - Brida, The Alchemist and The Witch of Portobello and entrants may like to read his Christmas story 'The Music Coming From the House' to get them inspired, which is available on the NUS website.
Two seasonal stories will be chosen to appear on nus.org.uk in the New Year. Only one entrant allowed per person and stories must be no more than 500 words long. Send your entry to christmascompetition@harpercollins.co.uk by December 31st.
I presume the competition is only open to NUS members but couldn't find any terms and conditions to verify that.
Good luck.
