Cats Protection Writing Competition 2009

Here's another challenge for you to try the 2009 Cats Protection Writing Competition with a prize of publication in The Cat magazine. Entry is free although donations are welcomed, with £5 being suggested to cover administration.
The Cats Protection website says: "This year we have opened up the entry criteria to include both short stories and poetry, so whatever your preference, we'd like to read your creative masterpieces.
Short Story should be no more than 1,000 words. Suggests are: "Incredible journeys, thrilling exploits or tangled love triangles. Whether it's a tall tale or true tale we want you to make us laugh, cry or be amazed with your compelling cat capers."
Poems must be no more than 500 words. Siggests are: "Sonnet, limerick, haiku or rhyme - if you have an overwhelming urge to write an ode, we want to read your sparkling stanzas... forget dazzling doggerel, we want creative catterel!"

The Cat is the official Cats Protection magazine (available via subscription) and has been published since 1931.

Who won the cats protection poetry competiton?
