The People's Author - Alan Titchmarsh launches competition
The Alan Titchmarsh Show are looking for 'The People's Author' - a writer who has a "strong, real life inspirational" story to tell.
The winner will receive a publishing deal with Orion including a £20,000 advance.
The closing date is Tuesday June 30th. Entrants must be 18 or over and living in the UK and you must not be a professional writer. Only one entry per person.
Your entry (not previously publishes) must be a real life story based on incidents that you have experienced.
To compete you must send an outline (synopsis) no more than two pages long, and a sample from your story up to 5,000 words long, and a brief biography.
Entries must be posted to The People's Author, The Alan Titchmarsh Show, P O BOX 64382, London, EC2P 2GJ.
